CLOSED: Weird spider

Hello,
found this spider on my mailbox. It was about 1 cm big, no web and not really afraid of humans.

This is a jumping spider (family Salticidae). They have excellent eyesight for spiders, and are active hunters that do not spin a capture web. Australia is home to more than 250 species in this family - see http://tinyurl.com/4agpt3p
