Heya! My former "collection" of AVs has dwindled to practically nothing, but you know how that is... a couple of trades, a trip to the Violet Barn this spring, and my shelves will fill up again. I know I've been awol for some time, and I'm looking forward to catching up with folks on this forum and getting to know those I haven't "met" before!
Back on topic... I do strip off a lot of leaves when I repot, but I'm not sure I get down to just 3 rows very often. It's amazing how a plant will take off though after you reduce it in size like that! Sometimes they just sit for a while, but I don't think they're sulking, they're just growing roots (especially if you've just up-potted). Then -- wham! New leaves, flowers... :-)
