I came across this phrase in my research on the piggyback plant (Tolmiea menziesii) - "unique habit of forming new plants in the axils of its leaves. This phenomenon is known as the ability to form gammaceous plantlets."
Now I need to know exactly what it means and especially would love to see a photograph. Can anyone help me?

Here's a picture of Tolmeia showing the new plantlets forming in the leaf: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/10287/
