CLOSED: Spider ID?

Daytona Beach, FL

Can you help me identify this spider? I would hope it's non poisonous as I have 3 cats and am more worried about them then myself.
It's about the size of a quarter including the legs.

At first glance, I thought that this male spider was in the family Amaurobiidae (hacklemesh weavers), but after some review, I believe that it might be in a related family, Amphinectidae, that recently has become established in Florida - see http://tinyurl.com/5tzdyge for details. These spiders are not dangerous to humans or pets; with the exception of one very small family (the Uloboridae), all spiders have venom glands and technically are venomous. However, only a very few species are truly dangerous.

Thank you so much! Your expertise is very much appreciated! The Metaltella simoni definitely looks like my spider.
