Do you have a new Astrological sign?

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Apparently a Minnesota Astrology professor thinks the earth "wobbled" a bit and that caused the Zodiac signs to be "off" by a month.
Here's what he says:

Interesting, eh?

Several of the the ladies at work have been talking about this too. Interesting.

It's not going to change your zodiacal sign because what you are is permanently stamped in you according to the date and time your born, that will never change. However, if this is true, it could change the zodiacal signs of those born at that exact time and forward. I haven't seen it on the web or heard anything about it on the news, so I'm not buying it. I think he's trying to get attention, must be running for office LOL

This was from our newspaper, Crissy - the Calgary Herald.
He's in Minnesota, so not Canada LOL

On our way to our Duet at Church - His Eye Is On The Sparrow!!

I saw he was from Minnesota lol sorry my dear! He's stupid, that would screw up the whole calendar, time, and probably climate (not that the climate isn't messed up as it is) all over the world, plus what would the Chinese do about their horoscope that they've had thousands of years? And he mentions something about the moons gravity... since when does the moon have gravity? LOL

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Actually, I heard just the other day that they are referring to anyone born After 2009 when the earth Did Wobble a bit (about a month's worth). I'll have to check that out.
You're right - it does sound odd, but odder things have happened to this earth of ours LOL

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Ah, I still don't by it, the earth wobbles all the time, that would have to be huge and astronauts and geological scientists would have noticed it by now. I think that dude saying this is a professor, not a scientist?

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

yes, he's a professor........ from Minnesota

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

the moon has about 1/6 of the gravity that earth has.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

not sure what point that makes, trackinsand......

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Yeah I know it has a little bit of gravity, but not enough to make the earth wobble that much. It seems like it would have to act as a magnet to make the earth move that much....

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I wasn't really watching about the earth wobble, but it seems that in 2009 that's what it did.....
not that I'm a professor or anything, but.... oh well, maybe I should read up on it a bit, eh? lol

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I read somewhere, of course I don't remember what website, that 'we' wobble all the time. LOL

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

really? kewl! sounds about right though..........

Guess I'm late for this meeting!
Interesting article, Susan.

Chinese zodiacs are according to the lunar year.. not month. So this won't affect the horoscopes.

But on the other hand, if one were to believe in astrology----
I had an astrological reading in Singapore more than 40 years ago, by a very well known local Indian astrologer.
From the time, date and the geographical location of when I was born, he said that I tend to exude a Leo persona, while having inner conflicts of a Cancer, whereas Sagittarius is my true zodiac.
Go figure! No wonder I'm 'cracked'!!

I'm not one to follow daily horoscopes nor believe in them, as I'm likely to have more bad days than good ones!!!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

LOL Jaye - you're "cracked"? LOL
I never follow the horoscopes cuz I don't take the newspaper - too depressing, anyway!
