My Angel again

I hope she won't mind, because I just couldn't resist giving credit to someone so nice to me. I learned tonight that my angel, who paid for me to be here for the next year, is none other than Rebecca of rebeccasgardenweb.com. I first met her at another garden site, about the time she decided to start her own place for us gardeners to feel more welcome and less threatened. Then I had cancer, and wasn't online for months. When she didn't hear from me, she called me, and we heard each other's voices for the first time. Of course, when I got back online recently, she was my first stop. Despite having a full and demanding life, she has made time and room for me, and I want to publicly thank her. She has meant so much to me! Love you, Rebecca

Oh Aimee, it is so nice to read this! I am not sure how I missed it when you first posted it. Yes, she must be an angel to do such a wondurful thing. Glad to see you are back at DG.

Thanks, Ruby42, it's great to be here! I have been the most fortunate person on earth. It would seem like a diagnosis and prognosis like I heard last December 2 was a terrible thing, but it was one of those famous blessings in disguise. Now I'm just ever so conscious of the fact that I have something important to do, and I am watching for it daily. I know I can't figure it out with the mere human brain I have, but I have a lot of faith and absolutely know the task will show itself to me in some fashion. And it is no small thing that so many people helped me reach this point. Rebecca has never seen me, but she reached out and held me until I gained strength, and then she gently led me to my new support group. She knew I would never attend meetings, I guess. My own sister couldn't have been sweeter to me, and when Reb admitted she had paid for my subscription, I just bawled like a baby. Everyone should have such a friend.

What a nice surprise...and on my birthday...I got a big ole lump in my throat and tears in my eyes when I read your post and I would do anything I could to help you and support you in anyway! A true friend you are... I understand what you have been thru (not with cancer but thru family sickness) and friends and family are Angels in trying times!

You go girl and I am behind you every step of the way!

Hi Aimee...Congratulations on getting through that journey of diagnosis, treatment, etc. I, too, am a cancer survivor and I think we all agree that when all is said and done, we are so Blessed, in more ways than one. We know we were healed for a reason, we know we are still here because we are supposed to do something. And I had so many angels that walked my journey with me too. Thank God for them. They have all certainly earned their crowns in heaven. Again, All God's Blessings to you as you continue to heal. vic

Aimee&Vic I am so glad you are here. I can't say I know what you been through because I haven't been there. But I do have an idea I went through it with my SIL,took her back and forth for treatments and did things for her after she had them and wasn't able to do it. And she too is a survivor. Thank you Rebecca for bringing Aimee to us. I agree you have a purpose and you will know it when it comes! Hugs to all of you! You are surely blessed but we are more so to have you here in the garden with us.
