Question on Stipa Ponytails seedlings. Since these look more like blades of grass when they sprout than any other annual, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to transplant them. I guess my question is... does each one seed only produce one "blade" of grass? Which would mean it would take a whole lot of seedlings to make any kind of showing. Or as that one seedling grows, it will sprout more "blades" and become a plant that can be grown on and will have several hundred "blades"?

It will be a small clump with numerous blades. I like to start the seeds in separate cells and usually plant 3 of them in a 12" pot for the season. It will grow in a nice fully clump
