Pop Bottles?

Pop bottles are easier for me to come by and I also have a plastic tray that holds about 6 or 8 of them. Question: the green bottles (semi-clear) -- will they help/hinder germination? Will be sowing both flower and veggie seeds. TIA

I don't think that using transparent green bottles will hinder WS germination--I use the semi-opaque milk jugs (not the pure white Hood ones) all the time and there is plenty of light coming through.

As long as you can see your fingers through it, it has enough light coming through...
