We came from here:

Lots of good stuff on that last one. Great variety everyone (but me) is seeing. ha.
Before we start, a reminder:
If you are new to the forum, check out the Helpful Hints sticky Pelletory put together. It is located at the top of the Bird Watching Forum. Good info there on just about everything from foods to identification, to photography and more.
Mid December already and we're going through the threads really fast. Since Canada is sending us all this cold air, I'm hoping they will also send me some of their Common Redpolls!
Every morning I put out some peanuts and get a kick out of the Blue Jays. They are here for as long as it takes to eat all the nuts then they are on their way.

Daily Bird Pics - Vol. 363
Thanks for starting the new thread Mrs Ed! Nice pics! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your Redpoll's.
Nice pictures Mrs. Ed. I love that Blue Jay, gobbling up the food. I did not see one Jay here today. Yesterday when I put out the peanuts, they were all over the place.
I had 2 Jays here today eating Sunflower Seeds.
Man, that last thread went through in rapid time. Must be that we are all seeing lots of birds, even in the cold weather.
Nice start Mrs_Ed, enjoyed the Blue Jay with the peanut. I saw (and photoed) some here this AM when the thermometer was down in the 20's. I'll share the pic later.
GrannyGrunt, and I thought I had some finches, wow, your finch fest was something.
nanny_56, looked like you Pileated Wp bite off more than it could swallow. :-)
2dCousinDave, outstanding snap of the Mocker.
Hack
Mrs Ed... a great start! The last thread flew by! I especially like your female Purple Finch.
GrannyGrunt... that's a great shot of the Red-bellied WP.
Nanny... I always love your Pileated! He is really shovelling it in!
Dave... your pics are always fantastic! I love that Mockingbird!
Hack... your pics are grea too! Your male House Finch is so colorful!
We have lots of visitors now at our feeders, and hubby and I both have been snapping lots of photos!
I'll start with a male American Goldfinch
Rumpus has absolutely no tail feather! Not one!
I always thought they had to have a "rudder" to fly.
My balcony is three stories up and he gets around just fine.
I am very impressed with him and his featherless rump...
So I named him Rumpus! He's a regular, so I am sure you will see more.
Another view...
Bird's O Plenty for everyone! Threads are really moving lately....lol
Mrs. Ed thanks for starting the new thread! Nice shots of your bird's!
That last thread really had some great shots from everyone. Glad to see the Kestrel finds for sure!
GrannyGrunt, nice shots!
nanny, I want a Pileated ...lol Your getting some really nice captures of them!
Dave, those 2 shots are stunning!!
Hack, nice shots! Your last bird is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet....by the way on that last thread...I must say you were getting some really great shots loved them all!
VA_Wild_Rose, you have that T1i dialed in!...Great shots!!
Well the sun was out today so I had an hour before work to get some shots...start off with a Dark-eyed Junco...they are no longer timid and are always around the feeder area.
Great pics everyone!
Love "Rumpus" VA !
I looked out the window and right in the middle of the sidewalk in perfect pose was my first junco! And wouldn't you know it, no camera! Actually there were two of them. Are they ground feeders or will they eat out of the feeders?
