For beef in a crockpot
and a standing rib roast.....
any suggestions for wine to add to the 'pot' along with the carrots and potatoes, and for the type wine to make the gravy/sauce drizzle for the standing rib roast? I think is should be sweet --but maybe not. I can't seem to get the exact flavor I am shooting for ---its pretty good but not great.
