this was found in my bedroom window please what is this and are there any dangers i have 3 small children !!!! t.y.

This a scolopendrid centipede; large specimens (3" or longer) can deliver a painful but not dangerous bite if mishandled - years ago, I was bitten by a 4" specimen; it was indeed painful, but all traces of the bite had disappeared 24 hours later. These are general predators on other small arthropods, and thus usually considered beneficial.
