Thanks guys & gals.....makes it worth waking up early.

Celeste, you just keep up posting those terrific early morning shots so I can snooze in during the dark days of winter. Much appreciated. Patti

A few from the Army hockey game last night.

Scrum out front.

A bit out of focus, but love the 'still life' of the table vs. the guy getting crunched into the glass.

Last - my older guy fist bumping the Army goalie.

Victor, Is that an offspring of one of one of the great Hockey "Hull" family? Cute picture of your son. Does he skate? My DH is known as the Gnat at the rink where he plays a couple of times a week. Nuts, especially when you are almost the oldest and certainly the smallest. Patti

No, not related.

We've only skated occasionally. Have to go more often.

Crash, bathed by the pellet stove light.

Steam from the coffee carafe. A very tough shot to get.

Nice photos Pixie, Patti, & Victor....I left my camera at home, so no shots of NH!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Great sunrise series, Celeste. I like #7 best. I like taking series like that.

Victor, the 'still life on table/guy getting crunched on the glass' is a great one. Those last three shots were great, too, of the cat, steam and sunburst through the beech leaves.

Patti, love the snowy scenes in your collage.

Noticed the fire was making one of Spooky's eyes appear to be a different color so I got the camera.

Closer. In his right eye you can see the fire and both living room windows - 180 degrees apart.

Our local eagle's nest was easy to spot today...no eagles though

Have seen eagles over our dam, but no nest....they are quite massive.....

A lone ice fisherman...and it was mighty cold and windy out there!

We never did see the babies last year but saw the parents quite often...hoping they will return to nest again.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice, Ronnie. I think they do return to the same nest every year. That sure looks cold out on the ice. It was very cold and windy here today, too.

Pretty cool, though these two guys look like inbreeding results.
