That's a happy looking photo, Jo!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

There was a stable near my old house.
The owner lived on my street. Every year he would come with the horses and wagon and give neighborhood kids a ride.

Very nice....

That was cool....I noticed she became more serious as she got older.....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes. And turned out to be a very pretty young lady.

Thomaston, CT

She certainly did! CT Board of ED. voted to change the age of kids starting kindergarten.....if the state Leg. votes to approve, my Anni won't be able to attend next year....yippee! Her parents will not believe me when I say she's not ready.....what's 34 years in education?...they just don't want her in the same class with her cousin. No, just let her struggle for years instead!

Not everyone is ready at the same time.

Here is the rainbow form the other day on my phone camera.

My holiday schrooge outfit is complete now.
A spider bit me above the eye. Face is swollen. Its been like this for 2 weeks and as I have had a bite on my arm before I doubt the swelling will go down until a few more weeks.
YES !I will seee a doctor Monday.
Meantime I am taking antihystamines and putting warm paks on it.
See photo below.

Intense rainbow, too bad you didn't have, 'the good camera', with you Victor!
- Why is it that good shots always show up in parking lots with plenty of cars and other obstructions around?!
(lol!)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yeah - tell me about it! I did leave the Walgreen's sign in the crop, though, because I am referring to it with my kids as the Walgreen's rainbow!

Believe me - these pics do not do it justice. It was truly amazing. Would not be surprised if I never see another as good.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow, really enjoyed those photos...would it be unkind to say I hope the snow stays over there? JoAnn, get to the doctors! That's a very nasty bite!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Wow Ge, I have to agree and not to scold you but being a diabetic...you know better!

Cool Debi!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

March should be a good time for death valley to see the spring show - camped there for one night in sept several years ago and the fine sand was blown through the tent screen door - very hot and uncomfortable - did manage a few mile hike the next day, brutal

I just got a Christmas card today from Death Valley....a former neighbor moved to Wyoming, but she has a winter job in DV this year. Would love to see the redwoods up close!
