I shot this pic of a spider on our privacy fence. It has me intrigued because it has long, slender legs like a daddy-long-legs, but the body is longer and it has different markings than I am familiar with.
Can anyone identify - and inform if spider is venemous?
Thanks!
CLOSED: Spider identification
This is a harvestman (order Opiliones); often referred to as a daddy long-legs (see http://tinyurl.com/2cdpz6y for a similar example. They are non-venomous and harmless to humans.
Thanks! That looks exactly like my spider - though not what I am familiar with as far as daddy-long-legs!
Good to know it's not some mutant with highly toxic venom :)
