Monday October 8, 2001 is Thanksgiving in Canada. We have a lot to 'give thanks'. Here are but 5.
1. All my children/grandchildren will be comming home for thanksgiving tomorrow.
2. We are known as a very friendly, clean country.
3. We have the friendliest neighbours you could wish to live next door to - the USA.
4. We live on the longest undefended border in the world - between Canada and USA.
5. There has always been peace between our two countries.
When you think about it we have a lot to give thanks for.

Giving Thanks
oh and we're very thankful for you!!!!!!!!
Thanks tiG
You are right gardendragon, you do live in a very friendly and beautiful country. We go into Canada once or twice a year. We have visited the Granby Zoo and some of your huge shopping malls. The Canadians are very friendly people and will go out of there way to help you.We were lost last year while trying to find a store and I stopped at a garage to ask directions. The man there didn't understand English very well and I understood French even less.He sent me over to his house to speak to his wife who spoke English and she gave me directions. Now how many people would invite a total stranger into their home. We feel very lucky also to have you as our next door neighbor.
Thanks G-dragon...a very nice post to read. Makes me wanna come up and visit your Country! (Will they let someone like me inside the border?) Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and yours! Keep smiling!
Hi neighbor and Happy Thanksgiving.
I get to visit our friendly neighbors alot being less then 2 hours away from the border. Believe me we here in the U.S. are happy we have you and yours as neighbors.

Happy Thanksgiving Gardendragon from another Canadian and glad to have the USA as our GOOD Neighbours also. old_rose I spent a weekend in Bay City, about fifteen years ago the drive was beautiful. I used to live near Sault Saint Marie Ontario, when I was a kid and we drove that way coming home to visit family, made it shorter then driving around the lake. FP
I will be with family as well Gardendragon,Hope you have a wonderful day . You are right, we all should give thanks and be content in what we have. HAPPY THANKSGIVING CANADA.
