WHAT'S IN FULL COLOR IN YOUR WORLD NOW? OCT-DEC 2010

Just an unusual bright spot in our yard and this is after several frosts. One tough and late Delphinium.

That is one tough Delphinium, my new Peony just faded, and the yard is looking bare, except for all the leaves to be raked, my grass dies if I don't rake. I currently have 3 Amaryllis growing and am hoping the Schlumbergia will start to bud soon to add some color. The cyclamen is doing fine both the coum and hederfolium which is having a party, and Rosa florabudia is not quitting, its about time to just prune them all for winter, the two hybrid tea are pruned as there were dead buds.I also think its time to dig up my Liliac and see if its root bound as it has not done nearly as well as two others, and I want to see if its in hardpan, which I seem to recall, so I will dig a more prodigous hole or move it. to a new location, as it is doing so poorly.

One of my young hydrangeas in the deep shade is still looking pretty good.

I couldn't resist a bouquet with the hydrangea and its neighboring holly along with a few autumn joy sedum.

Purchased kale kind of cheats, but it looks great this time of the year with some new heather I also added this year.

My pyracantha always adds its glowing color this time of year.

The male skimmia is also showing off its bright berries, and the female is puttin out new flower buds.

Its raining too hard here to take that many picures. Your are ambitious Sharon. Lots of nice color left in your garden! Not much left here in MT.
