Snow globes are neat ! I had one as a child but I think it sprung a leak. I just love that lamp!

Ric, Hope you start feeling tip top pretty soon. This is not the time to be sick. You have a lot of cooking to do. LOL

Snow picture of the day. I took this pic early this afternoon, through the window of our powder room.

Thanks FlowAjen, the golden oak came thru my family and we treated ourselves to the sideboard many years ago.

I remember having snow globes as a kid too. Same leak story. We just brought the lamp out of the other room. It sat by a chair I did crossword puzzles in. We just cleared out the corner so the new small freeezer could sit there. I never used it much after we got a computer, so it is like new :o)

I love how the grass is snow covered, but I am not ready to look out and see it here, except that Santa could use some snow.

This is one of my favorite decorations from my Great Aunt. Luckily they still sell small round bulbs because the tree bulbs looked terrible.

Ric and I were really busy today. I finished texturing (sp?) the back room now it's ready to paint next. Ric cleaned out one of the closets in the bedroom we use for the Grandchildren. He found a ton of Jen's stuff from 1991 not that she hasn't taken stuff home out of that closet but not all of it. He found her waders and fly fishing vest, riding outfit and containers of prize ribbons, bathing suit (that will probably still fit her) and some Halloween outfits.
Jen I love the snowmen they look so much nicer than the Turkey and Pilgrams that are still sitting out at my house. Probably take care of that tomorrow.

Decided to start a new thread with a better picture. I am home today due to lake affect snowing.
