While I am making notes to myself in a compostion book, can I set up categories ahead of time on DG under my own blogs/garden journal feature and just add to that category when the specific time comes? I fiugre that way I won't forget to enter certain specifics that I'd like to keep track of in the future. How does DG let you know when your DG subscription is up for renewal? What does it mean by "Tagged pages?" What is that feature used for?
A question about DG blog feature
Pippi
you can set anything you want up in your blogs and journals. The possibilities are limitless. I use these functions myself and have a number of years worth of journaling and blogs on a number of different topics - I have my gardens, I have my pond journals dating several years back, I have recipe journals, and I also have used these functions for incoming plants from co ops, a 'want' list for later on and wintersowing journals. My point is, that you can put categories in for things you don't have yet, things you see that you want to keep 'out there' so you remember them for later, things for the past and things possibly coming in. They are a wonderful feature of DG.
DG will also send you an email about 2 weeks prior to your membership expiring, so you will have plenty of time to re up your subscription.
Oh one other thing - the folders, they are great tool too. I have different procedures and directions that I have come across in some of the various forums that I wanted to save and I have them labelled as such. This way, I can refer back - for example, I wanted the directions to a procedure on how to start clematis from cuttings - that is in there and labelled as such.
