What a gorgeous day today, dug up some plants for a lady at church who just got remarried and has a blank slate to fill at her new house.

Really funny, she was widowed and living with her son and dil. I dropped her dil off the other night and noticed that the house next to them was a house we looked at to buy 6 yrs ago when we were looking for a house...I told her the story and she's like "awwww we could have bonded over our gardens" That would have been REALLY funny!

Pretty hot today here....worked outside planting some new things we bought at the local Native Plants sale at Manatee Park yesterday. It was the best native plant sale we've seen around here. There was a lot of variety, nice healthy plants and good prices. I bought a BeautyBerry, 2 Tropical Salvia (bright red), a wild petunia (pretty blue flower) a couple plants for my neighbors and a scorpion's tongue (pretty white flowers). All are perennials and have barely made a dent in the blank spots that are out there since I pulled all of the weeds and poison plants out. Right now it's still in the low 80s and pretty humid. Humidity is supposed to be gone by next weekend.

Still dreary here but at least a bit warmer than it has been the last few days. A little drizzle/ light rain earlier. Sun tries but clouds are winning. Present temp is 65 degrees with a light SW wind.

Oh, forgot to say that those temps are on our front porch in the shade. :)

Ya, felt like FL here today, I'm wearing shorts for pete's sake.

Downright balmy here @ 64° with 77% humidity. A nice, gentle, 12mph breeze from the South means I'll be keeping some windows open tonight. ☺

Very warm here today. I wore a sweater to work and would have regretted it, except the AC was cranked so low my ears were numb.
