We saw this spider last night. (Belleville, Michigan) I'm thinking it's a Tunnel Spider. Thoughts?
Tunnel Spider?
It looks like that to me, a Funnel Web Spider. It's pretty small in the picture though. If you can get closer pictures, it always helps.

It is difficult to be certain because of the small size of the image, but this is much more likely to be a wolf spider (family Lycosidae) than a funnel web spider (family Agelenidae).
Lycosid - that would make sense. More likely to wonder inside.
I think what I was seeing for color on the cephalothorax had me thinking funnel web spider, but there are plenty of wolf spiders with similar color pattern as well.
