Hi, I found this long-horned beetle while I was studying abroad in Hua Hin, Thailand on May 15, 2010. I would like to know some specific information about what type of long-horned beetle this is. I know that long horned beetles are dangerous to trees in particular but is there anything positive about these creatures? All the information that I find about them seems to be negative. I'm doing a presentation for class and would like to show them exactly what I encountered while there. This is the information I'm seeking (any additional info would be great as well!!):
