dreams pt2

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Had a dream we moved into a new house and had to crawl thru a hole in the sheetrock to get to one of the back rooms and was wondering why we didn't notice that when we looked at the house originally, but then discovered the curtain in the room was just a room separator and didn't have to crawl thru the hole, then the next room was this high tech room where the tv came out of the ceiling along with the speakers and it was sound proofed, The curtains on the windows were controlled electronically also and after opening them noticed the airport right next door... I was shocked that I didn't notice that either when we originally looked at the house...

High tech - wave of the future.

I very seldom dream, and never remember them when I do.

When I was younger and drank, I had nightmares and disturbing dreams all the time. Once I put the alcohol down....no more dreams.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My mom says she never dreams/remembers also.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

My mom never remembered her dreams either if she did it was right before she got sick(with a cold or something)

South Hamilton, MA

It may depend on a dream waking you up. The dreams just before you are awake are the ones which you remember.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Napped today. As usual with daytime naps, I had one of those crazy dreams where you're trying to get out of it.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

trying to pull yourself out of sleep?
That's happened to me a few times, where you can't tell if what is happening is real, and it's scary, and you really try hard to wake up and it really feels like you are pulling yourself to wake up or you're semi aware but really still sleeping. It's definitely a weird feeling.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - it's very unnerving. You're kind of in-between awake and asleep. Not pleasant.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

It's like a part of your mind is awake but the rest of you is still sleeping, that hasn't happened in a long time, and now that you mention it, I think it usually was during a daytime nap.

Thomaston, CT

You probably feel guilty for napping!

I dream about every night. I can remember just about every dream. It seems like I am running, trying to get away from something or something just goes wrong. I dream in color, remember numbers and remember the face of someone I dont even know (thats pitiful).

Last night - Jim put the kitchen stove on to warm the house up a bit. I came out and looked and the flames are melting the crock pot handles and the coffe pot as he didnt have the brains to push them back away from the burner. I pushed the crock pot back and said "what are you doing, you blank blank. I woke up.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Poor Jim gets blamed even in your dreams!
When I get stressed I tend to dream I get into physical fights with people.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Crazy dreams last night...probably why I woke up with a migraine.

My dad was trying to rush me out of the house because there was a warrant out for my arrest for a hit and run I didn't commit.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

THAT is what they all say :)

Thomaston, CT

Wow, nasty, Jen! I hate to wake up with a bad dream.....

South Hamilton, MA

Just had a dream during the nap: 3 people coming to dinner & just a chicken leg in the fridge. Don't think I was hungry.

There was men that were thugs looking for me. I was in Vietnam on the streets trying to get rid of them. They were getting closer and I could see how they operated. I kept running and going left right left right.

They were in walking suit cases come up to you, unzip in front of you and want your heroin or kill you.

The suit cases were blue furry things.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wow.... 70's flash back?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

LSD before bedtime is not good, Sherrie! ^_^

South Hamilton, MA

No dreams at all, lately, certainly not nightmares. I suspect the medication stops them.

Last night my post got pulled from here about the bathroom

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes - it was a dream

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yeah heard that will happen, Iris

Didn't see it before it was pulled, how bad was it?

The other night I made

MEAT LOAF

I had 4 nightmares and Jim said his dreams were so bad he would not even sleep!

We were sitting drinking coffee in the morning and Jim said - I dont know what it was but we wont do that agian.

ughhh

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Been havin strange dreams lately. The other night I was pregnant.
Last night I parked my car and couldn't find it.

Thomaston, CT

Oh, I had the pregnant dream when I had the flu a few weeks ago! Other than that, cannot remember any dreams......

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

LOL Jen!

Mount Laurel, NJ

I seem to have the dream frequently that the coleus in my basement are dried up and wilting because I forgot to water them. When I wake up I'm so relieved to realize it was just a dream. I NEVER forget to water them!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I had a terrible one last night. Was lifted on a cable by a chopper, which then plunged into the sea. Not fun.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

both are horrible!!

:)

Thomaston, CT

Hate the scary ones!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Me too. Seems I have worse dreams when sick.

What ever it was I dreamed - I ended up on Onion Street.
