actually, streps are quite easy to grow as long as it's not to hot & you don't overwater.All mine are wicked, but sometimes i get one that will drink to much & i have to repot. thank goodness i got a air conditioner for the plant room or i would have lost alot more than i did before i got it. In the summer it just got to warm with the lights in the plant room.But of course when it's not summer, no problem. lol

They are easy to grow for me, but that wasn't always the case.
One rewarding part of growing Gessies is propagation.

You know, you all have started something!! Lol!!! I had totally given up on streps, until I see all those beautiful pictures. Made me go straight to ebay and buy a starter collection of leaves from Jim. They wouldn't live for me the first time......what makes me think they will live for me now?????
