I posted this in Healthy Living but I think this is a good place too. It's so hard to find something to snack on - that isn't fattening or unhealthy or boring.

I found this baby cookie called 'Mum-Mums.' The manufacturers are missing the boat when they market as baby cookie. It is a Grand Gold winner for 2008 (says so on the box) There is a baby and a toddler type but I just found out about the toddler (reading the box). These cookies are really good. Crispy and melt quickly (guess that is why good for babies - no choking.)

Baked and No Preservatives
No artifical anything
Gluten, Egg and Peanut free (may contain traces of milk)
Two ~ 6 inch 'cookies' are 15 calories (!!) That is what got my attention.

These things taste great - no kidding. I took a bite to see what the cookie tasted like - got it for my granddaughter. Original flavor and Veggie, and the Toddler is original and strawberry - made from rice. If you have eaten rice snakes - you know sometimes not so good and so I had my doubts.

These are sweet. Hits the spot for a snack - goes well with an apple or a piece of cheese or all by itself.

Purchased at Walmart
Brand - "Hot-Kid"
Really Good - no kidding. No way am I going to share these now!
Sophia will have to fight me for them!

It is very hard to find something to snack on that is not many calories.
Chopped up veggies are ok but think of them as 'meal' foods not 'snacks'!
Hope we can get more ideas and share with each other!

Lady, if you can find these you won't be sorry. Go to the baby food section at your local Walmart grocery.

If you really want a treat and you don't have to worry about carbs - get some low fat caramel dip for the cookies to really have a great 'dessert.' I had to do something - kept grabbing a handful (or two) of everyone's potato chips and other goodies with all sorts of bad and fattening ingredients.
