CLOSED: Need identification

Found this beauty in Cades Cove, in the Smokies. Were they migrating There were a lot of them.

A swallowtail, I believe. I don't know them well enough to go further than that.

There are four species of swallowtail butterflies in this region that can have a similar appearance. This one appears to be a pipevine swallowtail, Battus philenor - see http://tinyurl.com/2352rj7 for an image and links to the other species.
