bulbs multiplied? Anyone want to trade?

Lindenhurst, NY

I have some beautiful huge bulbs I got from buggycrazy a few years ago that are in a garden bed that has turned to most shade. I'm looking to dig and move them and have around 12 of them...does anyone want to trade? Mine aren't marked, they are either superbum (pink i believe) or white with maybe a hint of pink. I'm not positive but think they are orientals.

If they are either L. superbum or orientals, asiatics or trumpets, you can easily tell.

Superbum has whorled leaves, with several leaves radiating all around the stem from one place on the stem, then a 4-8 inch naked stem, then another whorl, and so forth. Asiatics, orientals and trumpets have leaves scattered all about the stem.

The bulbs are different too. Superbum will be more of a thick underground stem with small, easily broken of scales all about. The others are the more tradition bulb style, and you don't see any stem, except the one that rises above ground.

Thanks Rick -- that will help as the name tags have probably gone missing:-)

Did you ever take pics of the area? It helps to locate / ID bulbs.

Oriental lily bulbs have mostly a pinkesh cast to them. Very easy to tell them from Asiatic's, trumpets or O/P.

Have you still got them?
