This is a huge spider making a web in an old truck. Must be because the truck likes to hold water and it eats skeeters.

Here is a bad picture but you can see the egg sack at the back of the truck if you look close.

This is an orb weaving spider (family Araneidae) in the genus Argiope; likely the very common black and yellow garden spider, Argiope aurantia - see http://tinyurl.com/2972mso for detailed information. All orb weavers are harmless to humans.

Yes that is her.... I wish she wasn't quite so big and ugly.... But I will let her do her thing as long as she doesn't try to come near me.
