thought so - no spell check here at work - i've been told that will lead to freudian slips :)
Miscellaneous Shots - Part 6
let brian know that a 20 something kid with his friends was checking out a falls up there a few weeks back and fell 300+ feet to his death as 4 other friends watched him go over.
can not imagine that helpless feeling
Glad you had such a great time, Pixie...both of you needed the solitude of the mountains...I think your fungus is a coral mushroom....poisonous! Loved the pothole in the water....Brian on the edge of the cliff scared me....CT has also had some deaths this summer of guys going over the cliffs.....took that cog train up Mt. Washington, & hiked down.....my friend & I only had one way tickets, so we were not allowed a seat....we sat on the uptilted floor!
Geez Robin, your braver than I !!! LOL
There was quite a bit of soot!
a couple years back i went on a solo 15 mile hike up mt wash down into the great basin back up and finally down below the cog railway - cindy would not get on that train either and waited for me at the station. she was supposed to be at the trail head and i had to hike another 1/2 mile up the road hping that was were she was - longest half mile i ever hiked - ran out of water hiking up out of the great basin and my legs were cramping badly - was walking like frankenstein to keep my legs as long as possible - she had cold beer in the cooler for me so all was forgiven!
LOL Bill!!!
such great photos Celeste... love the bridge shot
think it's a problem with your browser Victor??
Yes - but only on DG!
We did the Cog railroad, but it was too windy to go all the way to the top that day, but even halfway up was awesome. Looks like you had a great time Celeste.
Great pics Celeste, I love the pink house, looks like a doll house, the purple one...eh not too much
Victor, I think that guy lost a bet
Thanks everyone, we had a great time.

Could use a haze filter on some shots, (lol)
Highway in Queens & cemetery shot stand out, night shots look clearer.
- guy must have had tons of clearances for those shots!
Yeah, really.
I became dizzy looking at them....my nephew's wife is DOT commissioner of Manhattan...seeing those photos makes me glad I'm not part of a city....don't know how Margaret deals with all that!
See the observation deck on the Empire State Building, then see that next little level where there are winows and a ledge?
Hubby had to work there on the AC. He said you actually have to jump down onto that ledge from the window.
Wow!
I'm afraid of heights, so that was a nightmare story.
sorry
Don't apologize, I'm the one with the hang-up!
