Would like to know the name of this? It is in its web. Between my stairs and the porch, when you move it, it changes from yellow to a silver! Let me know and any help is appreciated, thank you. I'm from hamilton, ont, canada.

This is an immature Argiope trifasciata (banded argiope), sometimes also called a banded garden spider - see http://tinyurl.com/2t6xhx. They appear to be less common than the very widespread yellow and black argiope, Argiope aurantia.
