2002 Chicagoland Get-Together?

Would anyone want to have a summer get-together for DG's Chicagoland members? That "other" website has one in my area (which I've never been to because usually "you know who" shows up, and those who have left know who I mean!) Actually, people can come from other areas, too.

Could do a group outing to nurseries, botanic gardens, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Just a thought.....

I might consider driving over from Detroit. Have it someplace like Morton Arboretum or somewhere like that.

Wow! That would be fun. The Morton Arborateum is nice, there are beautiful gardens at the Chicago Botanic Garden, and it's right off hwy 41, the gardens at Cantigny are gorgeous, too. How many people are there that might consider coming. (The botanic garden has a wonderful plant sale in the spring that's open to the public!! Got lot's of neat stuff there this year!).
