I have found his bugs while claring up the weeds in my sideyard. I have never see the bugs like this before, but some of my friends told me its a common beetle long time ago.

This is a tortoise beetle (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae; subfamily Cassidinae); it looks a lot like Aspidomorpha miliaris - see http://tinyurl.com/267ob39 for an image.
