Sadly, I couldn't get to the camera.
This bug was about bumblebee sized.
And bumblebee shaped - squat and round.
It had a long "beak" and something resembling a "tail".
It was after the same plants the Hummingbirds come to (agastache rugosa, "Black and Blue" salvia, etc.)

Pittsburgh, PA, zone 5/6
