This is indeed a weevil (Coleoptera: Curculionidae). Although it resembles the specimen shown at http://tinyurl.com/24c3zof, this is a very large family that includes thousands of species, and it would be very difficult for anyone not a specialist in the group to identify yours with any certainty.

Thanks for the info. Is this bug harmful? Should I be looking through my kitchen grains? I have only seen one so far.

This does not appear to be any of the species that are known to be pantry pests; I don't think you need to worry.
