I found this bug on my backpack while at IUPUI. Could someone please help me identify it? Thanks so much!

This is a wheel bug, Arilus cristatus (Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Reduviidae). Basically beneficial (they are general predators on other small arthropods), they can give a vert painful bite if mishandled. See http://tinyurl.com/ncvacs for detailed information.
