Black & red bugs taking over our garage! Help identify pls

Roselle, IL

We are building a new garage and after installing the siding noticed these primarily black bugs with red strips all over our siding. They climb all over it and leave an orange colored residue on the siding. At first I thought they were attracted to the new smell of the siding, but they have not gone away and are multiplying like crazy. Their babies look like little red spiders. Please help me to identify these bugs and find a way to get rid of them.
Thank you so much for the help!

These likely are eastern boxelder bugs (Boisea trivittata; Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Rhopalidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/5haez8 for images and more detailed information. These basically are nuisance pests that do little real harm.

I have tons of those on my milkweed plants, along with the orange milkweed bugs.

Whew - hearing they are box elders is a relief. Thank you for the quick response and link!
