I'm fairly sure this is a Twinflagged Jumping Spider - Anasaitis canosa. Am I correct?
Does anyone know how it got its common name?

CLOSED: Want to verify an Jumping Spider ID
The ID is correct. Although I'm having trouble verifying this online or in my field guides, I believe the name comes from the way this spider constantly oscillates the pedipalps, which could be thought of as flag waving. The white on the pedipalps makes this conspicuous.
Thanks for the verification. About the common name, my searching came up empty, too. But, I was thinking the same thing you said. I whole time I observed it, it was constantly waving its white flagged pedipalps.

Flag waving! That's delightful. I know you are serious, but it made me laugh. Thank you.
