Please help with this spider id

I didn't have time to take a picture but: Spider was black, shaped like a wolf spider but the legs were feathery (not hairy) 1 1/2"+. I've never seen feathery legs like this, they were "fluffy". I live in Daytona Beach, Florida and have large in ground pool which seems to attract spiders. The spider was in the house.
