This is a very large insect for PNW - and I am clueless as to what it is! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cicada maybe?

It isn't a Cicada, possibly one of the Longhorned beetles. Some of them can get quite large.

There isn't enough left of it to tell for sure, but possibly from the Cerambycidae family.

This is indeed a long-horned wood boring beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). It is in the subfamily Prioninae; the larvae of these beetles feed primarily in the roots of trees.
