Orbweaver ID?
This is an odd one; about the only thing I can think of that even comes close is the tropical orb weaver, Eriophora ravilla - see http://tinyurl.com/22qdy6o
I saw this one in the swimming pool and would like to know what it is. It was laying eggs on the float tubes stretched across the pool. It startled me and seemed aggressive when I tried to push it away, it seemed to be a good swimmer. I saw it again recently and it came out of the foam tubes. What is it and is it dangerous especially around children?
To what exactly are you referring? The spider image that fisherwink posted or something else? If the latter, please start a new thread and post an image. Like all orb weaving spiders, fisherwink's is harmless to humans.
