I have no pictures as they move too fast. They are tiny, white and they hop. They are all over the lettuce leaves. Can anyone tell me what they might be. I don't recall ever seeing them before. Thanks
CLOSED: CLOSED: Hopping white bug
They may be a type of leafhopper. (there are many species) They are known to be a pest in lettuce.
They are sucking insects as opposed to chewing insects and carry several plant viruses.
Does that sound like your bugs?
Thank you Melody. I looked at anormenis chloris in the bug files and will mark this closed
You're quite welcome!
