I normallt get big wolf spiders in my house, but they have the rounded bums. These don't. I'm not sure if these are wolf spiders. The're on the bigger side for northern BC, from what I've seen. About 2 inches with the legs. Any help IDing these guys would be great.
They seem to love my bath tub and my washer. Most of the time, there's more than one of them.
CLOSED: Usual wolf spider?
This spider is in the family Agelenidae (funnel web/grass spiders), in the genus Agelenopsis - see http://tinyurl.com/25sftng for an example. It is a male, likely wandering about in search of a suitable mate. They are harmless to humans.
Thank you Suunto!
