Saw this one crawling on the road. Did not have anything for reference, in hindsight I should have stuck my foot in picture. About 4" across.
Very Large spiders this year.
Unfortunately, your image will not enlarge. Can you submit another one? I suspect that it is either a wolf spider (family Lycosidae) or a fishing spider (family Pisauridae).
I would like to see its eyes in order to be certain, but this looks more like a fishing spider (family Pisauridae) in the genus Dolomedes than a wolf spider. See http://tinyurl.com/2aov2kt for an example.
