Found this little cutie moth today on my Flame anisicanthus

This moth is in the family Crambidae (formerly a subfamily under Pyralidae); it appears to be a Hawaiian beet webworm moth, Spoladea recurvalis - see http://tinyurl.com/2e7auw7 for images. In spite of its common name, this moth is widely distributed in the continental USA as well as in several other countries.
That was a mouthfull....appreciate the response. What am I missing by ID'ng these? I can identify butterfly families but not the moths. Mostly I am going on wing shape to seach for BF's, the moths I am having a hard time with.
