Hey, seen this guy around the house for a few weeks I just felt like snapping some pics as he's rather beautiful. (Or she, of course!)

Anyone know what it is? I'm sure it's probably just pretty common, but is a nice size.

This is a male (note the enlarged pedipalps) funnel web spider (family Agelenidae); a Tegenaria sp. - see http://tinyurl.com/28y89ll for information on species native to Britain, where they often are called house spiders.
