This one scared the life out of me as it ran after my almost 2 year old daughter. I could only get the bottom of him, but the top is the same light brown color his body is. He looks like he has big, black fangs and the web he's spun in the tiny jar he's in looks like cotton, like when a dog tears the stuffing out of a stuffed animal. He's seems agressive, and looked like he could jump. Doesn't look like the regular dark wolf spider's I get in my house.
Can you tell me what kind of spider this is, or at least if it's dangerous please?

I cannot be certain from this ventral view, but this could be one of the prowling spiders in the family Miturgidae, such as those in the genus Cheiracanthium - see http://tinyurl.com/32qdcug for an example. These spiders have quite large fangs for their size (see http://tinyurl.com/2f99ck3 for a close-up), and at least one species has been implicated in causing painful, slow-healing bites.
From the pictures, I'd have to say that's exactly what this guy is. And I'm a little scared now, especially for my 1 and 2 year olds. It's the first one like that I've seen, hoping there's no more. I'm going to do a bit of research, see how to keep them away if possible.
Thanks Suunto! You're always such a big help!
