CLOSED: What is the proper name of this orb spider?

Wickliffe, OH

I was snapping pics of the orb spiders we have all over our garage and kind of liked the way this pic turned out (it looks better in the large version). I wanted to add it to your data base, but need to know exactly where to post it. In other words, I need the proper name :)

OK, I've narrowed it down. I am new to this, but think it belongs in the Genus Larinioides? And I see the species is either cornuta or cornutus, which are so similar and have such similar common names that I wonder if they are the same? I have seen both in internet searches, so whether one is proper and one has been mis-copied from site to site I don't know. Anyone here that can help out a newbie? ;)
And is it more commonly called a foliate spider or furrow spider?
I have been watching these spiders on my house for years and have found some of their habits so interesting I finally decided to find out more about them if I could.

This could indeed be a Larinioides cornutus - see http://tinyurl.com/23jofsb for an example. Apparently, it originally was described as Nuctenea cornuta; when it was moved to the genus Larinioides, cornuta was changed to cornutus.
