CLOSED: Can someone please identify this spider?

Boulder, CO

I think its a wolf spider, but maybe a hobo spider. Can someone tell me what this is and if its poisonous? It's light brown and has two black stripes going across the length of its body. It's about 1-1.5 inches in width, including the legs. It appears to have large fangs...:(

This is a male spider (note the enlarged palps), and although it may be in the same family (Agelenidae) as the hobo spider, that species id not known to occur in Colorado. See http://tinyurl.com/4mj8j4 for more detailed information.

Suunto, thanks for the information. I know next to nothing about spiders and am generally not a fan. Should I be worried about seeing these in my house? (I've seen probably 15 or so in the two weeks we have lived here.)

Larger specimens of these spiders (Tegenaria sp.) are capable of inflicting a painful bite if handled carelessly, but they are not aggressive, and to the best of my knowledge, their bites are not dangerous to humans.

Thanks!
