These wasps are found in Moreno Valley, CA. Does anyone know the species? Thank you.
Paper wasp ID?
I cannot be 100% certain, but these look a lot like Polistes exclamans (Hymenoptera: Vespidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/28cug3j for an example.
