Jameso
Thanks James I wil as soon as everyone else starts posting too
James, I sent the Mistflower and pipevine seeds for you and Blackraven, with Ken, Tina forgot to take them, so ask Ken for them.
Josephine.
Thanks Josephine
Hopefully I'll get my first pipevine swallowtail next year.
James
I hope so too James, they sure are pretty but hungry cats.
I have been very busy with the Master Gardeners event that opens this Saturday.
The Scarecrow Trail is a big hit in the community with 115 scarecrow entries. Opening day admission will be a can of food that we will give to our local HOPE organization. Many schools have called for tours and about 700 students will tour our projects this month.
I can take a group of the RU folks out to the Arboretum, Demo Garden and Classroom if you wish to see the projects. The Gardens are beautiful and show a great variety of plants that grow well in our zone. Let me know if interested and I will set it up.
I will have some plants to trade that I will post soon. Several colors of salvia.
David
Mibus2 is there an entrance fee like at the NTRU? If so, can you let me know about how much to bring?
Michael
Michael we don't charge anything at our RU....the facilities are free. You can bring a dish if you'd like, and a small, inexpensive door prize if you wish to receive one...
Ok.will do.
Hey
I thought the entrance fee was a small fresh strawberry shortcake for all red headed peoplein attendance.
Jameso
Don't tell me that Jameso is red headed!!!!
Sure glad he doesn't have to have Sopapilla Cheesecake b/c of his read hair!!!
Been in FtW & Dal Va Hosp w/my dad for a wk. Got home tonite to take care of GHs & other plants. Going back Sunday!!!
Have we started a Food Thread yet? How about a trade thread? You have to cut me some slack b/c when I leave Magnolia, I don't have any internet unless I go to Sylvia's or the library! My folks have NO computers @ all, if you can believe that in this day & time!!!!
Still planning on coming & will try to keep in touch until Sunday & after I go back north, it is catch as catch can, so to speak!!!

Hey everyone... sorry... but I have been MIA also... not having a puter the last month has me pulling my hair out..LOL... I finally got an air card, since i couldn't even get dial up anymore, and this is the only thing available for my area!! I won't be able to be there tomorrow, but know I will in spirit! I was so looking forward to seeing everyone again!! Hopefully the spring will be better to me!
hey James!! My Esperanzas are doing fantastic! I just knew I had lost them after the winter, but they came back, and are blooming like crazy! Thanks again for sharing them with me!!
I might not make it either do to distance and weather between.
Michael we understand you can always try for the spring one
Sounds great! I really wanted to make it but just not possible this time around.
Dd dude n I are having a real nice time visiting at least
Ken....I also sent a plant home with you. A Hilary’s Sweet Lemon Mint for Karen (Darkmoondreamer).
Josephine
I got the seeds and plant, Many thanks. Tina has the noseburn, Texas kindneywood and dwarf pawpaw for you. With those seeds and the sassafras trees from Phyllis my trip was successful. The seedlings of the mistflower was an extra plus. Plus I had to big an inventory in the plants I took and was able to get rid of all of them to thin out my sypply at home.
James H
Thank you James, I am glad you got them, I am looking forward to the plants you sent me, thank you very much.
Josephine.
Hi everyone,
I made it home in one piece. The weather was not to bad until I got close to home, about 20 miles from my house it just started pouring down.
I had a fantastic time, can't wait until the spring to see everyone again.
Tina
