what caterpillar is this?

We found this caterpillar in our front porch. I don't recall ever seeing one like it before, and internet searches haven't turned anything up. Close, but not quite. Anyone know what it is?

m2ec, I think it's a dagger moth caterpillar (Acronicta americana).
